Teardrops In My Eyes
© 2006 Bob Morris
Verse I:
I woke up this morning all alone.
I looked around and found you were gone.
And you know it’s plain to see, what your leaving did to me,
Cause I’m sitting here with teardrops in my eyes.
Chorus:
The tears from my eyes keep on falling,
As I think about the love we once knew.
And I realize you’re gone, and I sit here all alone,
With your mem’ry and these teardrops in my eyes.
Verse II:
You know I get so lonely without you,
Cause I know there’s nothing else I can do.
And I start to realize, as the tears flow from my eyes,
It’s the reason for the teardrops in my eyes.
Repeat Chorus
Verse III:
Maybe someday I’ll forget the love we knew.
I’ll be happy when I know I’m over you.
Then no teardrops will I cry, and they’ll be no sad goodbyes,
And you’ll never see no teardrops in my eyes.
No, there’ll never be no teardrops in my eyes.
