Sugar Mama

By: Shirley Kelly

Verse1:
No partying this month. Only cigarettes and beer.
Play billiards with Freddie. Pretty good I hear.
No gas in my truck, no beer or cigarettes.
What the heck. You know what I mean.

Chorus:
Hey ma, are you there yet? I need to hear from you.
Hey Sugar Mama, please send me a few.
I parked at the station, walked to the store.
Waiting for your call, fifty dollars hoping more.
Hey Ma, please send me a few.

Verse 2:
I care for my folks, help them all I can.
They don't appreciate me, World War three started and I ran.
One hundred degrees, and high humidity.
The shower and pool are great.
You know what I mean.

Repeat Chorus

Verse 3:
Sugar mama, Dad’s name for you still.
You help me out, when no one else will.
Thanks for the bucks. I don't know what I'd do.
Hey sugar ma-ma, lucky to love you!

Repeat Chorus
