Crocodile Tears

By: Elizabeth Reilly

Verse 1:
I didn't know what was going on
But I knew something was wrong
You coming home late most every night
My accusations you'd deny
And then you'd always start to cry
Wondering why I couldn’t trust you out of sight

Verse 2:
I wanted things to be alright
So I followed you last night
I saw him greeting you at his door
I saw the smile on your face
And your passionate embrace
So baby you don't fool me anymore

Chorus:
Your crying crocodile tears
And they're music to my ears
Cause I'm not your fool anymore
I'm no longer confused
Just sadly amused
Your lies are drowning in Your crocodile tears.

Verse 3:
Now when you call me on the phone
I just pretend that I'm not home
I'm not interested in anything you say
I'm getting over you,
Feeling good about it too
Go cry an ocean of crocodile tears

Repeat Chorus
