Are There Any More?

By Dana Paul Robinson

I find that I've been looking at you inappropriately.
I wasn't aware that what I have stared at was unavailable to me.
Another's laid claim to you, what a shame!
It wouldn't do for me to woo or to pursue you that's not my aim.

Please don't think me rude, I don't mean to intrude or exasperate you.
I'd like to plead the right to proceed to interrogate you.
For you leave me amazed so dazzled and dazed.
I must tell you I'm compelled to ask this question you force me to raise.

Are there anymore where you come from?
Is any left in store where you come from?
I know that it's taboo to set my sights on you, but are there anymore for me?

I hope that you're the first in a long, long line
cause I'm about to burst till one of you is mine.
What do I have to do to get me one of you?
Are there any more for me?

Those dreamy eyes mesmerize and hurl me to heights delirious.
You're full of kicks you're the coolest fix
Sweet heart this is serious.
Are there anymore where you come from?

I would go to war to get me some.
I'd swim to Timbuktu to find a kind of you.
Are there anymore? Are there anymore?
Are there anymore for me?
