A Daughter’s Love

© 2008 Trevor Hooper

Verse I:
From the day my little girl was born,
We’ve never been apart.
Her sweet voice greets me each morn,
With a smile that warms my heart.

Chorus:
Not a day goes by, That I don’t hear,
“I love you, Dad.”
Like a God given gift from Heaven above,
After that how could I feel sad?
That’s a daughter’s love.

Verse II: Watching her grow up day by day,
Has been a miracle to see.
It has been a joy to witness,
I have to say.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Now that she’s married,
And having a baby.
It’s such a joy,
For me to see.

Repeat Chorus
